Here is a list of things to do during the holidays if you live in or around LA. Keep in mind I am northwesterner, SO the holidays to me is freezing cold, snow, and nothing of what LA feels like for the holidays! So here are a few things to do to get you in the xmas spirit!! ** Ice Skating in the Sunshine! WHY NOT! You don’t have to be freezing to go ice skating, and this will definitely get you in the holiday mood, here are a few different rinks to go to…this would also make a perfect holiday date, so ask that cute co-worker you’ve been lusting over this whole year

If you are like me and have only bought a few gifts and still have a whole list of people to buy for, listen up! I have been cruising the Internet checking out how much longer I have until I can’t order on-line and receive it before Christmas; and the deadline is coming up quick! On most of the big store websites, Thursday, December 18th is the last day! This is just four short days away!
While looking for my deadline on ordering on-line, I discovered that a bunch of the stores are having last minute deals! I went on the Macy’s website and found out that they are having an extra 20% off sale and free shipping for orders of $99 and up! They are also having a cashmere super sale with 30-50% off men and women’s cashmere sweaters! Nordstrom is not having a sale, but they do have free shipping on orders of $100 or more, just enter the promo Holiday08 at check out (remember there are only 4 days left for this). Bloomingdale’s is having a huge sale with 40% off a large and very good selection of women’s, men’s, shoes & handbags, and jewelry & accessories. I also had to take a peek at my favorite place, Target and found out that they also have free shipping until this Thursday and a last minute gift sale! The gift sale has discounts on almost everything in their store!
So, if you are crazy busy and can not get to the stores until this weekend, I recommend shopping on-line. But, remember in order to get free shipping and to receive your items by Christmas, you must order by December 18th!!! I didn’t expect discounts at this time of the season, so you never know, you may find the deal of the season!
